Paul, an inspiration to all..there are many who don't yet understand KISS music, however for those who do, they are truely blessed! Im 19 and went to the Sonic Boom tour in Dubin on 7th May. It was my first experience of KISS and I have never been more excited when I heard the words.."ALRIGHT DUBLIN!!" boom (sonic boom if you will) out all over the 02 arena! Morning! I just wanted to pop you a quick email to say thanks for coming to Liverpool. It was my first Kiss concert and I was blown away with the whole stage show. It inspired me to write a poem about it (and buy tons of Kiss Goodies from the merchandise stall!) so the next day I sat down in my new kiss t-shirt, pressed play on the concert memory stick I bought and wrote one. Hope you like it, I've also included a photo of a Kiss T-shirt I painted and a photo of me when I won first prize at Halloween! Thanks again and keep up the good work! You had Liverpool totally rockin’, the fireworks were burning bright, What an unforgettable experience, it was a Crazy, Crazy Night! I went in with Great Expectations, and it was better than a dream, The show was Larger Than Life, everything done to the extreme! I loved the bloody bass solo! Paul’s antics were great to see, And Tommy and Eric’s solo didn’t half Shock Me! Q: What made you decide to work with Washburn Guitars for your stage and signature guitars?

A: I think the key to great success is always a great team and great collaboration. That's why over the years I've sought out new partners from time to time. Washburn in an earlier incarnation had a terrific team, whereby there was no red tape to cut through or hoops to jump to see a design through from sketches to prototype. With the new Washburn team, I'm feeling that same excitement and the Flying V is the first indication of great things to come.

Q: When you sat down with Washburn to create your signature model, what was your main priority in what you were looking for?

The lead singer and guitarist for the rock band KISS learned the benefits of branding early in his career.

Background: Born Jan. 20, 1952, as Stanley Bert Eisen in the Bronx, N.Y., to a furniture salesman and a nurse. Formed a short-lived band, Wicked Lester, with fellow New Yorker Gene Simmons in the early 1970s. They dropped that name and formed KISS with Peter Criss and Ace Frehley in January 1973.

Big dreams: As a child, Stanley was shy but felt in his gut that he could be a rock ‘n' roll star. "When I first saw the Beatles on ‘Ed Sullivan,' I was a pudgy, little, unpopular kid. But I had this epiphany that I could do what [the musicians on TV] were doing. To think that when you could count your friends on two fingers, and you're not the kid who's taking home the trophy for best looking, is your innate voice talking."

Hi Paul !!! First, thanks for your time and for all your contribution to music. I'm from Rio de Janeiro Brazil and I'm your fan since I was 6 years old. The first show I saw in my life was in Macaranã Stadium in 83. One of the most important day in my life, for sure. I'm singer and a drummer and Kiss was the reason for me to play and sing. Kiss music is a part of my personality and an inspiration to do music. Me (33) and brother (37) played for fun since we were kids but know it's a dream come true to record some songs in our studio from the greatest band of all times. See Kiss in MSG/NYC last year was the best day ever !!! I could meet you guys backstage and stood front row. Nothing to say about it. It was just perfect.
